JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for, but not limited to: orientation of new clinical staff; development and management of mandatory education; clinical support and ongoing education of clinical staff; assessment of staff using clinical competencies; identify and respond to the learning needs of individuals and the service; and evaluate the effectiveness within the organization. Also responsible for drafting a curriculum to satisfy education requirements for up-skilling clinical personnel to meet DOH requirements and/or organizational needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Master’s degree in nursing with a focus on education is preferred.
Minimum six (6) years post graduate nursing experience; supplemented with two (2) years of experience in clinical pediatric nursing leadership and/or education, is desired.
