Job Description
Pediatric infectious diseases specialists treat a wide range of infectious and immunologic diseases such as those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. They are responsible for ensuring proper disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, in a manner that is in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and all hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
Must have graduated from a recognized medical school.
Completed pediatric residency training (at least 3 years)
Completed infectious diseases training (at least 3 years)
Certification as a pediatric infectious diseases specialist from the American Board of Pediatrics .
Six (6) years recent experience as a Licensed Physician.
