Pediatric Intensive Critical Care (PICU) Physician

Overview

The PICU physician reports to the Medical Director and is responsible for providing comprehensive consultant level patient care in Intensive/Critical Care. The 6 bed PICU opened in 2015 aims to develop to the level of our tertiary level NICU, which has 21 beds. Staffed round the clock by in house PICU hospitalist’s, supported by Pediatric super-specialists such as a Pediatric nephrologist, pediatric gastroenterologist, pediatric hemoncologist, pediatric cardiologist, pediatric neurologist, pediatric endocrinologist, pediatric metabolic specialist, pediatric infectious disease, pediatric surgery, and Pediatric pulmonology. 

Requirements

Medical Degree
Board Certification or CCT in Pediatric Critical/Intensive Care
3 years Consultant level experience in a Western hospital – preferred
Fluency in English
