Serve as the company’s primary financial leader providing a proactive and strategic role to the owners, leadership team and Board of Directors.
Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the financial operations (accounting, treasury, tax and audit), legal/risk and information technology/ERP of the company.
Create and maintain collaboratively a comprehensive dynamic financial plan/budget for the company.
Advocate and help lead decentralization of business functions to leaders close to the customers.

Accountable for the recruitment, hiring and retention of quality talent.
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations of direct reports including job descriptions, measures of evaluation, and growth/development plans.
Identify and develop multiple successors for key roles in the pillar through talent review and a strategic staffing plan.
Facilitate full engagement of employees through excellent and clear communication with and between individuals, helping employees to understand the connection between their role and the customer’s success.
Ensure timely completion and discussion of performance evaluation with each employee annually; conduct corrective counseling in consultation with the direct supervisor and Human Resources as needed.
Leader
Supervise, direct and review the activities and strategies of the following support departments:
Accounting (includes General Accounting, Administration, Tax, and Financial Planning & Analysis)
Ensure accurately and timely financial reporting and statements.
Maintain appropriate tax filing deadlines and commitments.
Support internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and successful annual external audits.
Own the annual budgeting process collaborating with key leaders across the company. Provide data for regular reporting at LT and BOD meetings. Assist the implementation of corrective actions as needed.
Work with the Administration team to establish clear goals and metrics on timeliness of accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with managing vendor and customer relationships as it pertains to the timing and accuracy of invoices or payments.
Treasury
Provide accurate weekly cash forecasts.
Maintain appropriate banking and third party relationships.
Ensure the cash flow and availability is aligned with the company’s long term requirements for growth, capital, and ownership activities.
Partner with the owners and outside firms to employ a tax strategy for the company and individual owners.
Legal, Risk, Environmental and Security
Ensure Company is in compliance with law and company policy.
Support all areas of the business including commercial and owners to facilitate positive relationships that enable growth while protecting company assets.
Communicate and support the overall risk strategy of the company.
Ensure the security team provides support and consulting services to all locations within the company.

Purchasing
Develop and utilize management reporting applying the Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodology.
Help with pricing and margin strategies for both traditional and non-traditional markets/products/offerings.
Support the Board of Directors through regular involvement with key members, active participation, and presentations on key financial updates, current legal standings, and developing the risk strategy.
Participate in the Vice President/Leadership team to actively update and engage the group on financial-related issues, provide financial reports, and perform a strategic input role to help formulate and guide ongoing company strategy.
Engage in growth strategies with all components of the business. This can range from strategic insight to actively leading projects such as new start-ups, mergers, or acquisitions.
Actively train and develop the business leaders’ financial understanding of our business to promote increased awareness and improved decision making
Other
Perform special projects as required as directed by the leadership team or owners.
Conduct performance corrective counseling in consultation with the Human Resources Generalist.
Communicate clearly, concisely, and with accuracy to employees, customers, and vendors.
Promote teamwork by fostering partnerships with key departments.
Promote strong company image and maintain positive working relationships at all times including professional behavior with customers, vendors, and co-workers, and company leadership (daily basis).

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with demonstrated experience.
MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Experience:
Ten years of progressive leadership experience in Accounting or Finance.
Leading decentralized business models
Accounting for multiple operating and legal entities with exposure to international operations (including transfer pricing and multi-currency reporting)
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and standard accounting principles
Other:
