MADE

FOR THIS.

Build. Create. Cultivate.

Created in God’s image, we are designed to go into the world – using our talents, giftings, and professional skills to do good in the world and for the world. And when we do, we reflect our Creator.

Write. Engineer. Innovate.

Maybe you’ve been told that to be “in ministry” or to work as a “missionary,” you need to leave your job, get specialized training, and join a certain type of organization. Or perhaps you’ve been waiting around for that special “call” and feel excluded from what God is doing in his world.

But nothing could be farther from the truth! You were made to live the Gospel, sharing your occupational talents in cities and communities around the world.

THE WORLD NEEDS WHAT YOU HAVE.

Why? Because it’s the everyday places of schools and hospitals, offices and shops, farms and factories around the world, where the hope of Jesus is needed most!

SCATTER FOUNDATIONS VIDEO SERIES:

Who does God say I am? What was I created for? To answer these questions we have to go back to the very beginning…

To the Garden of Eden, where God first tasks Adam and Eve with working and cultivating the world He created. Work was not part of the fall – it’s what humanity was created to do. Think about it – God gave us trees, but no buildings; words, but no songs or poems. God gave us all the raw materials and said, ‘Now go and make something of the world.’

Whether you are an engineer, educator, Uber driver, or stay-at-home parent, be encouraged. Because the WHO of God’s mission is YOU.
